Hello everyone,
Had a phone call last night from Gloria Breaden and she had received the invitation to our
company reunion; but wanted to let us know that Ronnie Breaden died on the 7th of May
2009 from cancer. She said he had cancer 17 years ago and had several other medical
problems that VA had given him some disability. This time when he got sick, they kept telling
him it was not cancer and by the time he was properly diagnosed it had gone too far for
treatment to be successful. Gloria said that Ronnie never made it to any of the reunions, but
he talked a lot about his time in Vietnam. She said one of the men he talked about a lot was
Jimmie Jack Jones, who was a KIA from the 501st. Her address is 412 Hawthorne Street,
Covington, KY 41014.
